Membership Classes
(Rates quoted are for 2006/7 season)
FULL The only class of Member with full voting rights and playing privileges. Although this is the normal class of membership for those living in Hastings and St Leonards, persons living anywhere may apply.
First year's Subscription for someone not previously a Member £27.00
Annual Subscription £48.00
INTERNET Membership - Annual Subscription £15.00

COUNTRY For those living outside Hastings and St Leonards who do not wish to take out full membership. Country Members may not enter the Club's internal tournaments, but may play for the club in matches.
Annual Subscription £21.00
AFFILIATED Membership open to fully paid up members of other Chess Clubs that are recognised by a Chess Association, eg the BCF. Affiliated Members may not enter the Club's internal tournaments, but may play for the Club in matches.

JUNIOR For those aged between 12 and 17 years, inclusive.
Annual Subscription £13.00**
CHILD For those aged less than 12 years. Annual Subscription £7.00**
**Note: If the junior/child member is a member of Hastings Junior Chess Club only half the fee is payable.
FAMILY For a spouse, or son, or daughter, or co-resident brother or sister of a full member.
Annual Subscription £24.00
Notes: 1) Residents of Hastings and St Leonards may not become Country Members.
2) members eligible may have their membership status up-rated upon paying the difference in the membership subscriptions.
